Rochefort Experiment

This anti-pollution experiment took place in Rochefort, France on December 5th, 2014.  A dynamic sweeping boom technique is used: one side attached to a small boat, and one side fixed on land. Instruments were deployed to compare this real-life scenario to the outputs of our numerical model.

Lisbon Experiment

This anti-pollution experiment for oil spill response using booms took place in Lisbon on October 14th and 15th, 2014.


Participants: Lisbon Port, Repsol terminal, MARETEC-IST, and  Falmouth Harbour Comissioners.

Oil Spill Studies book published
